Issue
Seepage water inside the basement under the property was happening after rain events.
Stormwater seepage water was finding it’s way under the property causing a large pool of water to accumulate inside the basement.
This was also saturating the back of the lawn area. Underfloor insulation could not be undertaken due to excess moisture issues.
Solution
French Drains were installed inside the basement area & connected to a new silt sump which was connected to the outside stormwater drainage system
Benefits
Excess water seepage inside the basement is managed by directing the water source to a controlled stormwater drainage system.
With the added installation of a moisture barrier, underfloor insulation can be undertaken.
House piles are less prone to erosion and ground subsidence is reduced. A healthy home is greatly improved with reduced moisture
